Dining Room

We have refurbished our house to be as comfortable and relaxing as possible for our guests. You can stay for just one night or longer in what we believe to be the best value Chambre d’hote in the area. We have tried to furnish and decorate our four bedrooms in a contemporary style while retaining the charm and the character of the house.

Serenity offers four bedrooms in total all on our spacious first floor. Three double rooms and one family room all with their own en-suite shower, WC and basin. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities and linen and towels are provided free for guest use. We welcome families and have a cot and high chair for families with the very young.

Meals are served in our spacious dining room or can be taken in the courtyard during the summer months. A continental buffet breakfast is included within the price. The town of Bourganeuf offers a variety of good bars and restaurants all within a five minute walk from our door.

For guests who wish to stay in we have a large comfortable lounge to relax in with a range of pastimes from games to TV, a real fire during the colder months can be found here.

Bedroom Two

Room 1.

Is a double room, which faces south, overlooking our quite street with shutters for those who like a lie in. It comprises of a double bed, wardrobe and drawers, bedside tables with lamps, tea and coffee table and two comfortable chairs. En-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and W.C.

Room 2.

Is a double room which faces south overlooking our quite street with shutters for those not to keen on the bright mid French sun. It comprises of a double bed, wardrobe and drawers, bedside tables with lamps, tea and coffee table and two comfortable chairs. En-suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and W.C.

Bedroom Three

Room 3.

Is a double room overlooking the courtyard. It comprises of a double bed, wardrobe and drawers, bedside tables with lamps, tea and coffee table and two comfortable chairs. En- suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and W.C.

Room 4.

Is our family room with a double bed and single. It is also possible to put another child’s bed in this room should it be required. It also has a wardrobe, drawers and a tea and coffee table with two comfortable chairs. En- suite bathroom with shower, washbasin and W.C.
